US Senate Candidate Daniel Gade Accepts Invitation to Participate in AARP’s The People’s Debate, Awaits Mark Warner’s Response

Richmond, VA – Today Republican US Senate candidate Daniel Gade accepted the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) invitation to participate in The People’s Debate on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Gade has challenged Warner to five debates, but Senator Warner has remained silent.

“I want to thank the AARP for hosting this vital debate for Virginians,” said U.S. Senate Candidate Daniel Gade. “In typical Washington fashion, Mark has refused to step-up to the plate and defend his poor record in front of voters. My soldiers and I didn’t have the luxury of not showing up for battle in combat like Mark has decided to do with these five debates. Virginians deserve to hear solutions to having affordable healthcare, quality education, well-paying jobs, individual liberty and much more.”

Daniel Gade is demanding the five debates be spread throughout the entire Commonwealth, including Southwest, Tidewater, Richmond, Southside, and Northern VA.

Dr. Daniel Gade is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, professor, and public policy leader. During more than 25 years of military service, he was awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and two Purple Hearts. Daniel graduated from West Point in 1997. He currently resides in Alexandria with his wife of 21 years, Wendy, and their three children.
