State Sen. Richard Stuart (R-VA.-28) announced that he is endorsing Retired Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Gade for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. State Sen. Stuart’s endorsement comes on the heels of state Sen. Jill Vogel (R-Va.-27) and Del. Terry Kilgore’s (R-Va.-01) endorsement of Daniel Gade.

“It is my pleasure to endorse Daniel Gade for U.S. Senate this year,” said state Sen. Stuart. “He is uniting Virginians around his message of limited government and faithful service to the Constitution, and I’m proud to join him in that effort. Like me, he is from a family of teachers and his military service speaks for itself. He will represent us well in the Senate.”

Dr. Daniel Gade is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel, professor, and public policy leader. During more than 25 years of military service, he was awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and two Purple Hearts. Daniel graduated from West Point in 1997. He currently resides in Alexandria with his wife of 20 years, Wendy, and their three children.
