What To Expect at Tonight’s Virginia Senate Debate Between Gade & Warner Moderated by Chuck Todd
Tysons Corner, VA – US Senate candidate Daniel Gade faces off against Sen. Mark Warner in the first Virginia Senate debate moderated by Chuck Todd. The debate marks the first of a series of three and takes place tonight at 7:00 PM EST on NBC4, NBC affiliates across the Commonwealth and www.nbcwashington.com.
Tonight you can expect to meet a new candidate with a fresh perspective. Lt. Col. (Ret.) Daniel Gade is a West Point graduate and combat vet who lost his entire right leg in combat. During his time in the US Army, Gade earned a Ph.D. and taught at West Point. In tonight’s debate, you will see a sharp contrast between his new, fresh ideas and a career politician repeating recycled partisan talking points.
Gade will discuss pressing issues: healthcare & pre-existing conditions, COVID-19, the Supreme Court vacancy, criminal justice reform, immigration, civil rights and more. Mark Warner will recycle his old, tired ideas on each of these issues.
